Finnair Corporate Responsibility
Communicating about corporate responsibility to a whole new audience
The brief
One of Finnair’s core values is social and environmental responsibility, but the airline was missing a forum on which to communicate this to its most important stakeholders: the passengers.
The solution
Using a new, fresh style of drawing, we created a tightly-focused, straight-forward site that is easy and enjoyable to use.
Targeted at passengers
The finished website is set apart from the rest by its tightly focused target group: Finnair customers. With 11 different language versions in place, the website is a truly international forum with visitors from all over the world.
A clear three-step content structure
The content is laid out in three clear steps: visitors can easily grasp the basics at a glance, while the info graphics and meticulously laid-out articles invite the reader to explore further. We also kept iPad users in mind when designing the site: the navigation works beautifully on touch screens.
Distinctive, fresh illustration
One of the key drivers behind the design was to make the site feel friendly, and to set it apart from the fray. The distinctive hand-drawn illustrations set the tone of the entire site, and help create an impression that sticks.
