These videos show that small actions can make a big difference – human-level stories presented in a way we can all understand.
The brief
To demonstrate ways in which people can reduce their environmental footprint with the help of Nokia’s products and solutions.
What we delivered
A creative concept with a fun and approachable angle: we used a selection of hand-drawn characters and elements to develop a series of eight short videos for viewing on the web.
The message
To encourage people to use their mobiles differently for the sake of the environment, and to demonstrate the huge combined difference Nokia’s billion+ users can make. Highlighting the wide range of Nokia’s sustainability portfolio, each video portrays a separate use case, including recycling, energy efficiency, video calls, and Ovi Maps navigation.
The campaign
The six videos initially produced were published on Nokia Conversations, the official Nokia blog, accompanied by a competition soliciting ideas for other green use cases. The competition generated a great response: around 200 storyboards were submitted, including many fresh, innovative ideas. Two winning entries were then developed into videos in their own right.
